Automatic dusk light Version #2
This is the second version of the automatic dusk light using the LDR. T his version replaces the transistor with an n-channel mosfet. You can use any n-channel mosfet for this circuit above. This new circuit can handle more voltage and current . Also when the dusk light turns on, there isn't a lot of voltage drop with mosfet unlike the transistor, since the transistor acts as a variable resistor when turning on.
If you are going to use 1-3W leds for this circuit, then i suggest putting a heat-sink on the mosfet. In the is circuit everything is the same; you can still adjust the circuit to when to turn on; the arrangement and the transistor to mosfet are different.
Above in the picture, i made the LDR dusk light switch , where i wired it into a hallway light circuit, which i will write about later in this blog site.
